Order Terms & Conditions — Rumi Pods
Effective Date: December 1st, 2025
These Order Terms & Conditions (“Order Terms”) govern all purchases made through
Rumi Pods LLC (“Rumi Pods,” “Company,” “we,” “us”). By placing an order, submitting
payment, or authorizing checkout, you (“Customer,” “Buyer,” “you”) acknowledge that
you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below in full.
1. Product Nature & Made-to-Order Status
All Rumi Pods are custom, made-to-order, factory-built outdoor kitchen structures. Once an order is placed, production and logistics preparation begin immediately. All orders are final, non-cancellable, and non-refundable.
2. Pricing, Payments & Chargeback Prohibition
- Pricing is subject to change until payment is received.
- Deposits and payments are non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Orders are not placed into production until payment requirements are met.
- Chargebacks, disputes, or payment reversals constitute a breach of these terms.
3. Shipping & Delivery
Rumi Pods are delivered fully assembled via third-party carriers. Estimated production and delivery timelines (typically 12–14 weeks) are estimates only and not guarantees. Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable. This includes, without limitation, any flat-rate logistics, coordination, handling, administrative, or carrier-related fees, regardless of delivery outcome.
Final delivery logistics may vary by location.
AK, HI, and certain remote locations require manual shipping quotes and are subject to additional logistics fees.
4. Site Access, Placement & Utilities
Customer is solely responsible for site readiness, access clearance, ground stability, and all required equipment (forklifts, cranes, rigging). All electrical, plumbing, and gas connections must be completed by licensed professionals.
5. No Returns, No Refunds, No Cancellations
Due to the custom, made-to-order nature of Rumi Pods: all sales are final. No refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations are permitted, including delivery refusal or site-related issues.
6. Warranty Summary
Rumi Pods includes a 10-year cabinetry warranty and a 2-year appliance warranty, subject to exclusions. Warranty claims do not constitute refunds or order cancellations. Full coverage details are governed by the Warranty Policy.
7. Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk
Rumi Pods provides fully assembled structures only and does not perform installation, construction, site preparation, or permitting. Customer assumes all risks related to placement, utilities, environmental exposure, and use.
8. Image, Media & 3D Rendering Disclaimer
Images and renderings are illustrative only. Actual products may vary in color, materials, finishes, and dimensions. Variations do not constitute defects or grounds for refund.
9. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rumi Pods’ total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rumi Pods from claims arising from installation, use, misuse, or third-party involvement.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Order Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes must be brought exclusively in Burlington County, NJ. Customer waives any right to participate in class actions.
11. Acceptance of Order Terms
By placing an order or completing checkout, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to these Order Terms & Conditions, including the Terms of Service, Shipping & Delivery Policy, No-Refund Policy, Warranty Policy, and Disclaimer.
12. Intellectual Property & Site Use
All content on the Rumi Pods website, including but not limited to logos, branding, website text, layouts, custom graphics, images, videos, 3D renderings, and marketing materials, is the property of Rumi Pods LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Product designs, specifications, and structural concepts may be owned by third-party manufacturers and are used with permission or under license. Nothing on this website grants any ownership rights to such third-party intellectual property.
No website content or marketing materials may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, displayed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Rumi Pods LLC. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.
13. Privacy & Data Handling
Rumi Pods collects and processes customer information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the collection, use, and storage of your information as described in that policy.
Rumi Pods does not sell personal data and uses reasonable safeguards to protect customer information. Payment data is processed by secure third-party payment providers.
14. Prohibited Conduct
Customers agree not to misuse the website or services, including but not limited to:
- Submitting false, misleading, or incomplete information
- Attempting fraudulent chargebacks, disputes, or payment reversals
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing staff, partners, or service providers
- Interfering with website functionality, availability, or security
- Using the site for unlawful purposes
Rumi Pods reserves the right to refuse service, cancel communications, and pursue remedies for violations of this section.
15. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any legal action, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally through good-faith communication.
Rumi Pods may, at its discretion, require disputes to be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, except where prohibited by law. Nothing in this section limits Rumi Pods’ right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
16. Manufacturing & Distribution Disclosure
Rumi Pods LLC designs, sources, and distributes modular outdoor kitchen units manufactured by third-party facilities.
