At Rumi Pods, we focus on providing a smooth, professional, and transparent delivery experience for every client. All pods are delivered fully assembled and transported using trusted logistics partners who specialize in moving large, pre-built structures.
1. Order Processing
All orders undergo a processing phase that includes scheduling, preparation, quality checks, and logistics coordination.
Processing begins once payment and required documentation are received.
2. Production & Delivery Timeline
Orders placed on or after January 1, 2026 reserve production in our Spring 2026 production cycle. Limited production slots are available.
Estimated production time is approximately 12–14 weeks from production start.
Delivery is scheduled for Summer 2026 and is subject to logistics coordination, carrier scheduling, route availability, and site readiness.
All timelines are estimates provided for planning purposes only and are not guarantees.
3. Delivery Method
Rumi Pods are transported using professional carriers experienced with oversized and pre-built structures.
Delivery includes:
- Transportation to your site
- Scheduled drop-off
- Coordination with the client for timing and site access
- White-glove placement (optional upgrade, quoted separately)
4. White-Glove Service (Optional Upgrade)
For clients who prefer a seamless, fully managed experience, Rumi Pods offers an optional white-glove delivery service. This service is designed to handle the heavy lifting and precise placement of your pod.
White-glove service may include:
- Coordinated outdoor placement of your pod at the desired location
- Required equipment such as a forklift or crane, when needed
- Professional handling and safe positioning of the structure
- Assistance navigating tight access or elevated placement areas
- Direct communication with your contractor, if needed, to support final placement
White-glove service is quoted separately based on location, site conditions, and equipment requirements.
5. Site Requirements
To ensure a smooth delivery, clients must confirm:
- Clear access for delivery trucks
- Adequate space for offloading
- A level placement area
- No obstructions that may prevent access
If you are unsure whether your site meets requirements, we can provide guidance or refer professional site-prep experts.
6. Missed or Delayed Deliveries
If the delivery team arrives and is unable to safely deliver due to blocked access, unprepared sites, or unavailable recipients, a redelivery fee may apply based on carrier policies.
Weather, logistics congestion, or carrier scheduling changes may also cause delays.
We will notify you of any updated timing as soon as information becomes available.
7. Delivery Updates
You will receive updates as your order moves through scheduling, preparation, and transport stages. We keep communication clear, professional, and timely.
8. Damage on Delivery
All products are inspected before shipment and again at handoff.
If damage is noticed upon delivery:
- Document the issue immediately
- Contact us within 24 hours with photos and details
We will assist in resolving the matter per our warranty and carrier policies.
9. Shipping Areas
Rumi Pods currently ships throughout the United States.
Additional regions may be available upon request.
10. AK, HI & Remote Locations
AK, HI & remote locations require manual quote.
“Remote locations” = Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, Micronesia, Marshall Islands, Palau, U.S. Virgin Islands, Armed Forces addresses.
11. Non-Refundable Shipping
Shipping & delivery fees are non-refundable.
12. Delivery Logistics
Final delivery logistics may vary by location.
13. Flat-Rate Shipping & Logistics Fee
Rumi Pods charges a flat-rate shipping logistics fee to coordinate and manage delivery planning, carrier sourcing, scheduling, documentation, and transport execution.
The flat-rate fee:
- Applies to standard delivery only
- May be shown as a single line item at checkout or on an invoice
- Covers logistics coordination and administrative handling associated with transport
- Does not include white-glove delivery, placement, or on-site handling
- Does not include cranes, forklifts, rigging, permits, site preparation, or utility connections unless explicitly quoted in writing
- Does not guarantee a specific delivery date, time window, or carrier performance
White-glove delivery services, if requested, are optional upgrades and are quoted separately based on location, site conditions, and equipment requirements.
The shipping logistics fee is non-refundable once incurred, even if delivery is delayed, rescheduled, refused, or prevented due to site conditions, access limitations, permitting issues, or customer unavailability.
